Women...Destined for God's Purpose Logo
“Women…Destined for God’s Purpose.” This 2009-2011 program theme was chosen by the board of American Baptist Women’s Ministries to give women and girls the opportunity to deepen their commitment, encourage their involvement in mission, grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ, and inspire their walk with God. “For I know the plans I have for you,” God tells us in Jeremiah 29:11 (NRSV). Sometimes it’s difficult to remember that God has gifted each of us uniquely to fulfill God’s purpose in this world. Through exploration of Scripture, prayer, devotions, mission programs, and worship, women and girls will have the opportunity to discover and celebrate God’s purpose for them.
